Lyta,
At the WB message board I noticed a poster named Lyta_Alexander, completely different personality than the one I've come to associate you with. Is it you?

Sindatur,
No, it's not me. I've never posted at that site. In fact, I'm not sure if I ever visited the site either. :-O
I'm just posting this everywhere I know cuz it could be very cool if it turns out to be true. The following link is about a new civilization discovered in Central Asia ... and it's big. ;-)

Oook!
Wow...neat article, Tracsand.
Who knows, now. Maybe the tourist business to the area will bring a better economy...hopefully not at the expense of the ruins.
There's a move in England to move the two roads that pass Stonehenge away a couple of miles, and from then on, tourists will have to go to a center some distance away and view it remotely. As impressive as it is, you can see visible signs that our presence there is causing deterioration to that site. Hopefully, the folks in central asia will have a better way of dealing with the discoveries without causing them to fade away.
And so it begins. I was sitting happily at my computer, playing Keno, when just like that everything in my house shut off. Yes, they are finally here, those infamous rolling blackouts. After hearing about them for months, it was finally my turn. It's going to be a long hot summer I'm afraid.
I believe they have also re-dicovered a large ancient civilization in Peru. Dates back to time of the Pyramids in Egypt. Ironically, thats what was built at this place. Some large pyramids (flat topped) surrounding a large court.
Hey QueenGOP, my house will be nice and cool this summer if you want to come and get out of the heat for a while (evil grin)
Ah, the beauty of owning a laptop shines through rolling black-outs. Granted, you have to have a means of undocking the thing (manual release comes in real handy), but once unshackled, you've got close to two hours to finish shutting everything down until the power comes back.
However, I guess it's time to get a small UPS to power the DSL modem, though. That way I can finish what ever important work I'm doing at the time. There's nothing like hitting the "Submit Reply" button and have the lights go out.
With all the political posturing going on here in California, we're gonna have lots of blackouts and finger pointing. If anyone is looking for a good stock to put money into, check out the companies that make portable power generators. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

Do not tempt the patience of Wizzards, for they are subtle, and quick to anger.
Watch your emails for another .vbs script. It's another worm that emails everyone (using Outlook) in your contact list, then presents you with a couple of porn sites for viewing.
Known as the Homepage virus, it has a comment about looking at a really cool homepage. More information can be gotten by clicking here. It's a McAffee site, so if you have another virus package running, you might want to update the virus files at the same time on your computer from who ever you got the virus protection software from.
LOL Thanks PC. I know how cold your house can get. Of course I can always thaw out in your toastermobile, er car.
